This week, COVID19 Vaccine producer Moderna has seen three of it’s top executives join the Forbes top 400 richest list.
Noubar Afeyan, Moderna’s chairman and co-founder; Robert Langer, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor and Moderna co-founder; and Timothy Springer, a Harvard Medical School professor and company Investor, have each been propelled into the richest category by the successful uptake of their vaccine.
The COVID19 Vaccine is Moderna’s only product, the company having been established in 2010 to research RNA vaccines. In 2020 the US government gave Moderna over $1 Billion to develop the COVID19 Vaccine, Moderna is currently valued at over $100 Billion.
The stated net-worth of each Moderna executive named on the Forbes list is over $3.5 Billion each.
